What is a credit card transaction dispute?
A dispute is when there is an issue between merchant and customer in relation to a purchase made. Alternatively if you are concerned there may have been a fraudulent transaction on your account, check out our fraud help.
How to apply
Follow these steps to dispute a transaction:
- Check with all other cardholders the transaction was not theirs.
- If you know who took the payment then contact them to see if the matter can be resolved directly.
- When you don’t recognise the transaction use the Look Who’s Charging feature in the St.George App.
- If you have followed the above steps and still need a resolution, then lodge your dispute.
